As this is the first year of the competition selection has taken longer than expected.   Three competitors have been invited to Osbaldeston and the future finalists will be decided next week.
 
Sorry if you haven’t heard from us, but we have had a fantastic response to the competition and we want to make sure we give everybody a chance.
 
If you haven’t heard from us, don’t give up!  We will write to you shortly and either offer you an alternative venue or let you know if you are unsuccessful on this occasion.

Search for a Star Steward Competition

Are you a steward for the future? Would you like to steward at Horse of the Year show?
South Essex Insurance Brokers and Horse of the Year Show have instigated a competition to find the stewards of the future. SEIB have found numerous equestrian stars with the Search for a Star series and now want to find a Star Steward for the future.

Do you help at horse shows and would you like to be involved at Horse of the Year Show?
If you give up your time and energy to help at horse shows and would like to be recognised with an opportunity to steward at HOYS, why not enter our Search for a Star Steward Competition.

If you are over 18 years of age you could be at the Horse of the Year Show for the whole show with travelling expenses, hotel accommodation and all meals included.

In addition you will be given six tickets for your friends and family on the Wednesday. So if you can work as part of a team and understand that being a Steward at Horse of the Year Show is hard work but great fun you could be in with a chance!

If you are on the shortlist you will be invited to come and help at one of the Search for a Star qualifiers and the best applicant on each of the first four qualifiers will be invited to a final judging at the final venue Vale View on 18th July 2010.
